Tim Hosken

A native of Cornwall, Tim's interest in science and holidays spent on the family dairy farm led him to choose a career in Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from the University of Bristol, he spent six years in Wales in a very mixed practice. It was a developing fascination with the complexities of Small Animal Medicine (not the rain) which found Tim taking over the management of Alma Veterinary Hospital in 1986. Tim enjoys the daily diagnostic challenges and gets great satisfaction from helping clients and their pets, many over several years. Tim has a long standing interest in homeopathy and has recently started using acupuncture. He has recently taken up skiing which combines his love of mountains with physical exhilaration.
